How Lauren Conrad Stays in Shape with Surfing

The Hills Lauren Conrad is a California girl at heart and she keeps her body rock hard by pounding the waves of the Atlantic. Surfing burns about 200 calories a day, which helps keep Lauren toned and fit.
When she can’t hit the waves Lauren meets up with her trainer for a workout she calls body box. “It’s high-intensity kickboxing with a lot of body-weight movements, such as squats, lunges and jumping jacks with upper cuts,” explained Lauren.
For her diet LC sticks to 1,500 calories a day and eats oatmeal with fruit for breakfast, a salad with grilled chicken and salmon with brown rice for dinner. Her one vice is Starbucks – but she tries to drink just plain coffee.
Lauren’s trainer Jarett Del Bene says the key thing to staying fit like Lauren is to be consistent. He suggests exercising a minimum of 30 minutes a day for at least 3 days a week.
